After years spent coaching at the highest level of sport, I noticed that something was missing.
I watched athletes push their bodies to the max day after day, and saw coaches work around the clock, season after season - both only to be deemed successful if the data and metrics were in a good place.
Getting the numbers right is important, but what about the person?
Over time, I saw athletes and coaches lose touch with themselves. I felt it too. I struggled with my mental wellbeing, the pressure, the pace; and started to quietly lose my identity to performance sport
These experiences led me towards wellbeing and performance science, the connection between nervous system regulation and sustainable performance.
I began integrating tools like meditation, journalling, breathwork, and science-backed wellbeing practices into my day-to-day, and into my coaching.
Through these practices, my mental wellbeing improved, I rediscovered my identity, and I can now show up to the World in the best way possible. That is what success means to me.
Eventually, that became Holism.
A modern coaching practice built on the belief that calmer, more fulfilled humans make better players, coaches, and people.
About Jordan
Jordan Fairclough spent over twenty years in elite sport as a footballer, a competitive 100m sprinter, and a First Team Physical Performance Coach at Liverpool FC.
He has worked with some of the best athletes in the world, at the highest level of professional sport, across some of the most high-pressure environments in the game.
That experience is the foundation of Holism.

“I spent a lot of time together with Jordan, he made me fitter, he made me stronger, and he made me a better person as well.”
Calvin Ramsey

“I worked closely with Jordan for seven years at Liverpool. We worked daily on the physical attributes of my game, but he also helped me with the mental side of my career and life.
He was always a safe pair of ears I felt comfortable to confide in. He helped me maintain perspective and motivation in moments when they could have strayed.”

Going into a new season with a new team, I was a bit intimidated. The Connected Coaches Mentorship reminded me that I have the football coaching skills that are necessary but it taught me to be intentional with my player interactions and helped me focus on my short and long term goals. Starting the season meeting with Jordan and ending the season as state champions is a dream come true. I would recommend this to any coach in any sport!

"After working with Jordan for many years, I can say that he is one of the best people that I have come across in football.
He was helpful and attentive, not only as my physical performance coach, but with life in general. I can’t narrow down how much he helped me but I’ll try; in every way physically I felt improvements with him, speed, strength, anything that I needed.
One strength of his was that he was a great listener, he gave me what I needed as an individual, even though he had a lot of other players to look after too.
He made everyone better. An amazing guy and an amazing coach."
Tyler Morton
Olympique Lyonnais

"I worked with Jordan for 3 years at Liverpool. He delivered my physical development, strength and conditioning, and injury prevention work. What I enjoyed most, was the detail he applied to my training to making sure I was in the best possible shape; whilst also making sure I was feeling okay mentally. I’m really grateful for the impact he’s had on my career."
Neco Williams
Nottingham Forest

"It takes real courage to work with men to blend shadow work with high performance and he does that with exceptional ability.
This is the work that men in particular are crying out for, and they need someone to open that door and give them a permission slip; and in my opinion, there is no better person in the world to do that than Jordan.
The work that Jordan does in this world is truly exceptional; he is the change that this world needs."

"Jordan’s sessions have been massive in helping me break old thought patterns and insecurities in my coaching and life in general. He’s helped me realise that experiences in my past or old ways of thinking don’t serve me and may be holding me back. The main thing I’ve taken away is confidence.
As a coach, it’s a mentorship that is different to anything else out there has helped me with struggles that I think a lot of coaches face without having the support network to overcome, The mentorship provided me with this support network.
I couldn’t recommend it enough."
Conall Arnold
Leeds United Senior Academy Physical Development Coach

"More than anything, the biggest compliment that I can give to Jordan, is that I enjoyed every interaction with him and every conversation. He is a great human being."
Joe Gomez
Liverpool FC

"Jordan's motive is to change lives. He sees beyond the physical, he sees the heart in people, he sees their soul, and asks 'How can I help this person feel how we're supposed to feel?'
Jordan is able to take someone from a great coaching experience to a mind-blowing, exceptional, life-changing experience. He is in this world to do this work. He is so gifted at what he does."
